Bumble Bee Baskets loves to work with Charities when we aren’t buzzy with baskets, so we thought we’d shine a light on another great organization we love to work with, Because I Am A Girl.

The Because I Am A Girl Project is a sponsorship opportunity charity that’s simply mind blowing. You take on the sponsorship of a young girl in a third world country and they provide them with education, health care, and education, and it only cost $28 a month.

What You Provide For Less Than $1 A Day

What these girls get from your donation is simply amazing. When girls are born, they are able to be registered. By legally registering them with their governments, they are entitled to education rights. Since there are over 62 million girls worldwide that aren’t receiving education, that’s a huge deal.

Not only do they get an education, but they also receive health care benefits. Illness care, reproductive health, and other general medical necessities are provided to the girls. That’s a priceless gesture of love.
